Positions
1x Coal processing Shift Supervisor
Location
Boschmansfontein Colliery, located approximately 10.56 km south-east of Ogies
Requirements:
• Code 10 driver’s license
• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in mining environment

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role

• Supervisory certification of competency and Legal liability certification of competency

• Competence A will be advantageous
• Medically fit to work in a mining environment
• Proof of residence
• Latest Updated CV with certified supporting documents
• No criminal record
Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken & written)
• Excellent communication skills (with employees, employer and customer)
• Energetic, reliable, and safety-conscious
• Professional and punctual with strong teamwork skills
• Ability to operate a machine would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Running daily operations, ensuring production targets are met, and managing inventory.
• Staff Supervision: Creating rosters, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training or coaching.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and company policies.
• Problem-Solving: Resolving employee conflicts and handling customer issues.
• Reporting & Communication: Completing shift reports, documenting incidents, and coordinating handovers between shifts.
